Description:

The Merchandise Supervisor is responsible for supporting whole store functions by executing store and Company objectives, delivering results in sales and customer experience while ensuring employee satisfaction. Supervisors in the store are responsible for the customer experience, the sales floor and execution of daily store operations.

Duties:

·Effectively train and direct the activities of cashiers assigned to the front end and set the standard for customer service.
·Implementing company and store standards of merchandising/store signage throughout the store
Completing all co-ops and corporately generated promotions and/or markdowns
·Executing merchandising efforts throughout the store resulting in clean store presentation and increased sales
·Support Management Team in driving sales, financial management, and ensuring that store profit, productivity and audit goals are met
·Driving sales and exceptional customer service through effective Service Management
·Providing leadership by fostering a sense of teamwork
·Coaching & mentoring, to ensure that staff understand all policies, programs & standards
·Providing oral and written feedback to the staff as directed by store management team
·Supporting management initiatives and corporate directives through positive sales floor interactions
·Assist with providing orientation and ongoing training to staff
·Monitoring productivity and performance of hourly staff and/or assigned teams
·Ensure operations daily including opening and closing the store and assisting management team with cash handling throughout the day
·Access to all areas of the store, including master store key, alarm code, and safe combinations
·Other tasks as necessary to support the Management Team
·Responsible for the accuracy of all inventory shipped and received at store level
·Reviews negative on hands for accuracy and recommends any inventory adjustments
