Description: |
The individual in this role will be the primary point person for traditional and non-traditional marketing initiatives. The individual will also be responsible for research strategies, database management and ratings analysis. Reports to Assistant Vice President of Ticket Sales & Marketing - Texas Stars. |
Duties: |
| ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Responsible for managing advertising placement, and working on creative conception and media planning
- Directly manages numerous research projects involving the organization's brand, management, customers and corporate partners
- Develops qualitative and quantitative reports in support of marketing and corporate sales efforts.
- Responsible for overseeing fan development efforts, including established and potential loyalty clubs, community events, social media initiatives,
- Extensive involvement in e-marketing initiatives, website data collection and online promotionsAnalyzes media ratings and trends, and prepares regular reports for management.
- Directly manages community relations program with a focus on corporate giving, increasing Texas Stars awareness, and data collection
- Directly manages game operations & entertainment program for all Texas Stars home games and other events including mascot coordinator, Ice Girls coordinator and team, and other game day staff.
- Directly manages official team website
- Other duties as assigned

- A knowledge of online data collection and marketing initiatives
- Knowledge of special event planning and execution, as well as event marketing and grassroots marketing strategies
- Ability to work independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- HTML, Archtics, Microsoft Access skills are a strong plus
REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's degree in marketing or closely related field,
- 2 years marketing experience
- Understanding of advertising, media planning/buying, market research, revenue-generating programs, database development, database management, e-marketing strategies and television ratings
- Required computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
