Duties: |
Lead/Sr. BA or Pre-Sales Engineer/Consultant
|
Qualifications: |
Required:
A minimum of 8 years of related experience with software product or implementation projects
Ability to present and lead functional and core software technical demos/discussions during pre-Sales or Initiation phase of project with C-level executives, technical end users and operations SME's
Ability to understand client""s needs and make recommendations that benefit the client and align with our core products/technical capabilities
Technical Savvy with experience recommending and analyzing end-to-end core capabilities/services and software solutions offerings and configurations and add-on components with Product Managers and Business Development teams.
May also manage and own requirements phase and planning activities, leading a team of up to 3 BAs, from initiation through analysis and approvals. Support Development/QA, and consult w/ UAT/Training teams as needed. Update requirements when necessary.
Perform planning activities including but not limited to: core solution gap analysis during Proposal phase, requirements phase estimation, impact analysis/complexity and prioritization of features with stakeholder and architecture/development/qa teams
Good listening skills; Seeks to Understand and then be Understood
Experience facilitating Requirements Sessions with up to 20 stakeholders including executives; Assess changes/customizations against core product capabilities in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives and drive value proposition and best practices with clients
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
Excellent ability to write and manage BRD""s, use cases, user scenarios, screen flows/content requirements and Visio flows/activity diagrams
Ability to meet tight timelines, work in fast paced environment and manage changing priorities
Software development lifecycle knowledge
Self-motivated and learns new technology and domains quickly
Strong Oral and Written communication skills and strong working knowledge of MS Office
Work independently with Product Managers, Internal/External End Users, and Technical SME""s to validate and document requirements under direction of Business Analyst Manager and Project Managers for assigned projects.
Develop software requirements specifications/use cases according to standard templates, using natural language.
Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Highly Preferred Qualifications:
Pre-Sales Engineer/Consulting or Product BA experience
Prior experience working to define and demo enterprise software solutions
Experience with implementation of electronic payment card/electronic benefits/eChildCare or eWIC paid card software solutions
PMP Certified or Project Mgmt Experience
Experience with Federal, State or Local Government contracts
Knowledge of Visa, MasterCard, or ISO 8583 financial messaging standards
Education and Typical Years Experience:
Bachelor""s Degree in IT, Engineering or related field
8+ years planning, managing full requirements phase from Inception through UAT including leading JADs, writing/managing requirements, and mentoring/guiding other Business Analysts (2 or more) throughout the project
