Description: |
| Part-time 10-20 hours per week.
The lifeguard is responsible for direct supervision, control and safety of participants during classes, recreational, fitness swimming. They are also responsible for pool maintenance and proper chemical readings in the pool.

Duties: |
| Provides direct supervision and maintain safety standards during recreational and fitness swim.
Responsible for appropriate child-adult ratios and group sizes.
Enforces all facility rules including- no food or drink allowed in the pool area; clear all swimmers from the water during an electrical storm.
Responsible for keeping the pool clear of equipment and putting equipment in proper storage place.
Reports needed equipment repairs to pool manager in writing.

Qualifications: |
| Incumbent must be at least 16 years old.
Must be American Red Cross Lifeguard Certified. First Aid, CPR, BBP, AED, and OČ certifications are required and must be current.
Must be able to work on Saturdays.
Incumbent must have good communication skills.
Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.
