Duties: |
| Caregiver must be active with children, follow daily schedule and lesson plan, assure children and safe and clean.
Must follow DAP and Minimum Standards.
Must be able to communicate clearly with parents on a daily basis.
Engage in Circle Time Activities.
Change Diapers as needed.
Attend 15 hours of Child Development Training and maintain CPR and First Aid Certifications. |
Qualifications: |
| High School diploma or equivalent required.
3 years of experience working with preschool-aged children necessary.
Must be able to take and pass CPR, First Aid, BBP training within 60 days of employment.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
Work is performed in an active environment. Incumbent must have the ability to communicate both verbal and written, with all levels of staff, children and parents.
This position requires high levels of attention and alertness, because of the children that are in the camp. Visual acuity is required for child supervision. Repetitive stooping and bending with occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods at a time is required, as well as, the ability to run and be able to participate in sports.
