Responsibilities include: Execute Dahill training program focused on developing new sales representatives on Dahill sales processes, product knowledge, and sales skills. Evaluate and monitor sales representative progression. Use a variety of instructional methods to include group/classroom instruction, meetings, self-study, role play, product presentation/demonstrations. The Dahill training program consists of discussion, practice and execution of sales techniques, talk tracks, cold calling, scheduling effective appointments, time & territory management, proposal writing, business ethics, and learning the Dahill sales cycle. Trainer will accompany sales representatives on outside customer/prospect visits, calls, appointments to observe sales methods, monitor learning progression, and provide feedback on opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with Sales Managers, Directors, and upper management to monitor performance of new sales representatives within their first year, identify "at risk" or underperforming reps and develop solution to improve their performance. Collaborate with sales manager to schedule onsite vendor bootcamps. Serve as the point of contact with Dahill vendors and suppliers to coordinate training events. Assists in recruitment of new sales reps, works with HR to further enhance Dahill brand in local community. Participates in candidate selection by attending university and local career events, conduct initial face to face interview, obtains feedback on job previews, and new hire orientation. Maintain a professional appearance, foster team building environment, and support management in promoting and enforcing Dahill sales contests, initiatives, and strategies. Trainer will be required to maintain metrics to quantify and qualify success of training program and its impact on Dahill sales team. Travel for this position may be up to 50% travel to our regional offices in other Texas cities. |
