| This position will assist the Marketing & Publications Department in a variety of projects, including but not limited to general filing, copying, routing of materials and answering phones. In addition, the candidate will write content for a variety of printed and electronic marketing materials, including business memos, advertisements, flyers, magazine articles, and Web copy. Strong proofreading and editing skills are required. |
Duties: |
| The Marketing Intern will be responsible for adhering to the department’s style guide and ensuring content is consistent in grammar, punctuation, formatting, and spelling. Furthermore, the Intern will assist in special events, including convention preparation and quarterly manager meetings and new agent training seminars. |
Qualifications: |
Education: Candidates should be majoring in English, Journalism, Public Relations, Business Communications or Marketing. This position is for candidates who are in their junior or senior year of college.
Qualifications: Must have writing experience, either on campus newsletter, yearbook or freelance. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, MAC and PC. Must have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, project management skills, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments. Working Conditions – Occasionally bend/stoop, crouch, kneel and push/pull. Frequently climbs and rarely reaches above shoulder level. Occasionally lifts up to 10 pounds waist to overhead and floor to waist. Occasionally carries and pushes up to 10 pounds.
